John P. Kruczek, University Controller

The airlines industry recently reduced the commissions paid to travel agencies. This reduction has resulted in some agencies attempting to recoup the lost commissions by charging a surcharge for their services. Please be advised that the State Comptroller’s office will not approve payment of this surcharge.

University travelers should make their travel agencies aware, prior to using their services, that a surcharge or any additional fee for services will not be paid by the State.

If you have any questions regarding this surcharge, please contact Etta Green or Susan Bertie at (352) 392-1241.
