There’s Still Time To Get A Flu Shot!

The first case of Influenza in Alachua County was confirmed by culture yesterday at the Alachua County Public Health Department, so “flu season” may begin earlier than usual this year in North Central Florida. However, there is still time to get a flu shot. The final 1998 Student Health Care Center flu shot clinics are listed below

Faculty, staff and students can get a shot for $7.50 CASH ONLY.
No appointment is needed for these clinics:

Wed.    Nov. 18   Reitz Union Colonnade   11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Tues.    Dec. 1      Sun Terrace-JHMHSC  11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Wed.    Dec. 2      Sun Terrace                   11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Thurs.   Dec. 3      Reitz Union Colonnade   11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Students are also welcome to walk-in to the Infirmary, Room 138 for flu shots on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Student Health Care Center has 550 doses left, and when we’re out, we’re out.
