Dr. William Muse Withdraws From UF Presidential Search

Dr. William Muse, president of Auburn University, has withdrawn his candidacy for the presidency of the University of Florida. In a statement released today, Dr. Muse said, “I enjoyed my visit to Gainesville and appreciated the opportunity to consider that possibility. I feel, however, that my time and talents can best be used at Auburn. I have been gratified by the support provided to me by Auburn people and their encouragement to remain here. I look forward to continuing my work at Auburn.”
