Stephen J. Pritz, Jr., Interim University Registrar

The Office of the University Registrar is beginning a new pilot program to better serve the needs of the various colleges and departments that comprise our university community. Currently, when departments have a need for the Undergraduate Catalog, Graduate Catalog and Schedule of Courses, they send someone to the Registrar’s Office in 222 Criser Hall to pick up these items and then transport them back to the department office for distribution. These boxes and bundles can be cumbersome and difficult to transport.

Our pilot program will bring the publications to areas throughout campus to make it easier for departments to stock those items that they need. We will be distributing publications to interested departments at the following times and locations:

May 28, 2002
9:00 – 10:30 JHMHSC service drive near Pharmacy
2:00 – 3:30 New Engineering Building in service drive

May 29, 2002
9:00 – 10:30 Florida Gym in service drive closest to Infirmary
2:00 – 3:30 McCarty Hall in service drive near vending machines

May 30, 2002
9:00 – 10:30 Norman Hall in service drive near parking garage
2:00 – 3:30 Service drive behind Music Building

May 31, 2002
9:00 – 10:30 Turlington Plaza near the rock

We will have cases of undergraduate and graduate catalogs, as well as bundles of the Fall 2002 Schedule of Courses available for distribution. If you anticipate picking up a large amount, please bring a dolly or cart.

If you have any questions regarding the pick up of publications, please contact Shana Miller at 392-1374 ext. 7245 or via e-mail at millers@ufl.edu. We look forward to providing you with this service!
