Graduate Assistant Checks
Kenneth J. Gerhardt, Interim Dean of the Graduate School
The University is very aware of the fact that a number of our graduate assistants have not received paychecks and apologies are extended to the graduate assistants who have been affected. Personnel at all levels and across the university are working hard to correct the problems. Today, the University Payroll Office issued over 200 emergency checks in response to the graduate assistants’ requests. The fee payment deadline for graduate assistants has been delayed.
The University will continue to issue emergency payroll checks as situations dictate and will also offer payroll advances on demand if students will contact University Payroll at 104 Tigert Hall or 392-1231. We ask the understanding and cooperation of the graduate assistants as we work through this unfortunate circumstance.
