PeopleSoft Student System

As most of you know, the University of Florida made the decision some months ago to implement the PeopleSoft Student System as the second phase to the current PeopleSoft project. The student system was tentatively scheduled to begin roll-out in 2006.

However, with our employees already consumed with the current PeopleSoft implementation, we have decided to re- examine our student system plans. As of today, UF has postponed any further development of PeopleSoft student systems. During this postponement period, we will redirect some Phase II resources into the Phase I implementation, evaluate our current student systems, and develop a revised plan that is best suited for the future of UF’s student systems. We will involve the student system stakeholders in the plan development, given the diverse needs and expectations of each area.
