Kyle Cavanaugh, Vice President, Human Resource Services

As previously communicated, GatorJobs, UF’s new employee applicant tracking system, is scheduled to go live on Monday, October 16, 2006. To date, over 300 staff members have attended training on the new system and an additional 160 employees are scheduled for this week. Please be sure that all staff within your departments who have posting responsibilities have attended training. As with other HR-related systems, training is required before access to the system will be granted.

The week of October 9 will be utilized as a transition phase. All new postings not entered into the existing system by October 9 will be entered into the new system effective October 16. Communication regarding the transition phase has been provided through the HR Forum. If you have any emergency situations please contact Donna Burdge, Associate Director for Recruitment and Staffing, at burdge@ufl.edu.

Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the new system by reviewing the GatorJobs tutorial at http://www.hr.ufl.edu/gatorjobs/recording/Intro_to_Gator_Jobs.html. The tutorial requires that you have Flash installed.

We look forward to working with each of you as we launch the new system.
