We are pleased to announce a call for applications to join the UF Academy for 2010-2011. Designed for emerging leaders at our institution, the UF Academy focuses on immersion in the university culture and exposure to its leadership and organizational structure. This program represents an invaluable opportunity for professional development, including interaction with UF’s highest levels of administration, without any travel required for participants who work in Gainesville.

Applications to participate are being accepted now through close of business on August 27. Participation will last from October 2010 through June 2011.  Up to 15 participants will be selected via a competitive application process. There is no fee to participate in this program.

For more information, including the application, please visit: http://www.hr.ufl.edu/training/leadership/academy.asp

Given the array of challenges the university currently faces, leadership development is increasingly essential as we prepare our current and future leaders to support the institution. Please join us in encouraging your area’s emerging leaders to submit an application for the UF Academy. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide development for our rising stars. Thank you for your support.
