The Office of the Vice President for Human Resource Services (HRS) is pleased to announce a search for the next UF Director for Equity and Diversity. A search committee has been formed and will be chaired by Robert Jerry, Dean of the Levin College of Law. The Director for Institutional Equity and Diversity will chair the President’s Council on Diversity and reports to the Vice President for Human Resource Services (HRS).
The Director will provide oversight for the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity in the fulfillment of the University of Florida’s equal employment opportunity responsibilities and initiatives to improve the diversity and work environment of faculty, staff, and students. The Director is also responsible for producing the annual Affirmative Action Plan, the Florida Educational Equity Act Report, and the VETS-100A Report.
