I am pleased to announce that Dr. Glenn Good, Associate Dean for Administration, Research, and Performance Excellence in the College of Education at the University of Missouri, has accepted the position of Dean of the College of Education, effective September 29, 2011.

Dr. Good earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, his master’s degree from the University of Oregon and his doctorate from The Ohio State University, specializing in counseling psychology. In 1990, he joined the faculty at the University of Missouri, where he has been named Mentor/Advisor of the Year by the College of Education and has received several teaching awards, including the Graduate Professional Council’s Gold Chalk Award for graduate instruction.

Dr. Good has twice been named the Researcher of the Year for the society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity and served as chair of the Missouri Psychology Licensing Board. He is a fellow in numerous organizations, including the American Psychological Association, Psychology of Women, and Society for the Psychology of Men and Masculinity. He was recently elected to Fellow status in the APA Division of Psychotherapy. Additionally, he is a Kemper Teaching Fellow.

Glenn Good is a licensed psychologist in both California and Missouri. He is quoted extensively in international, national and regional media and is author or coauthor of approximately 88 publications.
