Ceremonies: This spring, commencement will be very different than it has been in the past. Since the O’Connell Center will be undergoing extensive renovation during 2015, UF will no longer have this venue as the location for commencement ceremonies. Instead, some of the spring 2015 ceremonies will be held in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (rain or shine) and others will be held in the University Auditorium or the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

There are four commencement ceremonies coordinated by the President’s Office that will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, April 30; Friday, May 1; Saturday, May 2; and Sunday, May 3 in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The Doctoral Degree Ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 30, followed by three Master’s/Specialist’s/Bachelor’s Degrees Ceremonies on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

In addition to these four ceremonies at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, there are numerous ceremonies coordinated by individual colleges that will take place in either the University Auditorium or the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
