Joseph Glover, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs

I am pleased to announce that we have launched the search to fill the position of vice president for student affairs at UF by engaging the search firm Spelman Johnson, which has extensive knowledge of UF and the field of student affairs, as well as a commitment to cultivating and supporting a diverse higher education work force. Chris Hass, associate provost for academic and faculty affairs, will serve as the administrative search liaison.  A search committee will be appointed later this summer.

If you wish to recommend names of excellent potential candidates or provide input on any aspects of the search please contact Chris Hass at cjhass@aa.ufl.edu. As with previous vice president searches, we will provide opportunities for campus input on finalists when we reach that stage. Our plan is to search nationally and to appoint the very best individual to this important leadership position. As you know, this leadership position plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a healthy campus environment that facilitates student success.
