The University of Florida will launch a new compliance training course on October 1, 2020. This online training is mandatory for all University of Florida employees, as required by Florida Board of Governors’ Regulation 4.003.

The training module, called “Doing Your Part for the Gator Good!”, introduces the UF Compliance and Ethics Program and reviews important provisions of the Florida Code of Ethics. Additionally, the training discusses employees’ responsibilities and expectations for reporting compliance concerns, disclosing outside activities, and maintaining proper stewardship of University resources.

The training module will be available in MyTraining beginning October 1, 2020, and must be completed no later than December 15, 2020. Please be on the lookout for an email from MyTraining about completing the course. The training is concise and should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Once completed, the training requirement is satisfied for two years.

UF Compliance and Ethics asks for your assistance in meeting this important training requirement. As UF employees, one of the most valuable things we can do for the continued success of our university is to remain aware of the laws, regulations, and policies that govern our conduct and the indispensable work we do at the University of Florida.

For more information or questions, please contact UF Compliance and Ethics at (352) 294-8720 or UF-Compliance@ufl.edu.
