Finalists selected in Chief Diversity Officer search

Four finalists have been selected as candidates to serve as UF’s next Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Advisor to the President. The following individuals will visit campus in May:

  • Lakesha Butler, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion/Coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion, School of Pharmacy, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, May 4 & 5
  • Seval Yildirim, Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs and Development, California State University, May 6 & 7
  • Kauline Cipriani, Associate Dean for Inclusive Excellence/Clinical Associate Professor, Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, May 10 & 11
  • Marquita M. Booker, Associate Vice President for Inclusion and Equity, Office of the Vice President for Diversity and Community Engagement, University of Texas at Austin, May 12 & 13

The candidates’ schedules will include opportunities via the Zoom platform for interested faculty, staff, students and stakeholders to engage. Once finalized, the time and Zoom link for the presentation will be posted to the CDO Search section of UF Human Resources’ website at: https://hr.ufl.edu/manager-resources/recruitment-staffing/talent-search/chief-diversity-officer/.  Reminders and/or modifications to these schedules will be noted on the website, as will copies of the candidates’ materials and evaluation forms for feedback.
