The University of Florida is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Gray, Assistant Vice President & Director of Sponsored Programs in UF Research, as the Interim Director of the Office of Clinical Research (OCR), necessitated by the recent departure of the former director, Brian Sevier.

OCR supports the clinical research enterprise across the entire University and UF Health system, providing major functions that include study fiscal management and oversight including sponsor invoicing and collections; contract and budget negotiations; development of OnCore protocol calendars; coverage analysis; and quality management. OCR will continue to work in partnership with the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) in addressing the needs of clinical research teams.

Since 2012, Ms. Gray has served as the Director for the Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP) within UF Research, having joined this office in 2011.  Prior to coming to UF, Ms. Gray worked within sponsored programs at the University of Wisconsin, Madison for 11 years.  While serving as Interim Director of OCR, Ms. Gray will continue in her role as Director of DSP.

The University will be launching a national search for a permanent director of OCR in the coming weeks.

Please join us in thanking Stephanie Gray for taking on this important role for the UF clinical research enterprise.
