Superior Accomplishment Awards Nomination Period

I am pleased to announce a call for nominations for the University of Florida’s Superior Accomplishment Awards. An established recognition program, the awards are designed to extend our gratitude and bring special attention to faculty and staff who go above and beyond to advance the mission of the University of Florida and serve the greater community. Each year, the UF community takes time to recognize faculty and staff who have contributed outstanding service in their fields during the previous academic year – Aug. 1, 2021, to July 31, 2022.
This year, we are pleased to introduce some enhancements to the program. Nominations may now be submitted via an online nomination form that will be open Wednesday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Oct. 14. After consultation with Superior Accomplishment Awards Division Chairs and University Committee, we are also expanding eligibility to include postdoctoral associates and director-level employees.

Division-level winners of the Superior Accomplishment Awards receive $200 along with a certificate of appreciation and University memento. Each division winner is then eligible for one of eight university-level awards of $2,000 or one of eight special recognition awards of $1,000.
The Superior Accomplishment Awards program was developed to recognize deserving university employees and is coordinated by UF Human Resources. The success of this program depends on all of our participation as we seek to express appreciation for exceptional employees and their superior accomplishments.
