Fulbright Awareness Month 2023
Marta L. Wayne, Dean & Associate Provost
UF International Center
The International Center and the UF Fulbright Lectures Committee are pleased to announce that Fulbright Awareness Month (FAM) will be celebrated from March 7-31, 2023.
Fulbright Awareness Month includes multiple informational sessions for scholars, faculty, staff, and students and provides opportunities to learn about Fulbright, the application process, and to hear about the experiences of past Fulbright participants. Despite the different challenges we face both at home and abroad, the Fulbright mission remains the same: to build lasting connections between the people of the United States and the people of other countries—building mutual understanding between nations, advancing knowledge across communities, and improving lives around the world. The International Center continues to support faculty, students, and staff interested in exploring international exchange and collaborations through Fulbright. Fulbright grants and fellowships are available in all fields of study and in many world regions. For more information visit Fulbright Scholar Program for Faculty.
This year’s information sessions for faculty and staff interested in applying for the
Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program will feature a representative from the Institute of International Education (IIE) in Washington, D.C. There will be availability for individual consultations with interested applicants, for more information contact canumba@ufic.ufl.edu.
