Faculty members being considered for tenure, permanent status, and/or promotion in the academic year 2023-2024 must be made aware of the website URL where they can find the University’s “Guidelines and Information Regarding the Tenure, Permanent Status and/or Promotion Process for 2023-2024”. The Southeastern Conference sponsors an Academic Leadership Development Program (ALDP) to “identify, develop, prepare and advance faculty as academic leaders in and for SEC universities.” Member institutions nominate fellows to participate in two ALDP workshops, as well as on-campus programs, during the academic year.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) Visiting Faculty Travel Grant Program is intended to enhance faculty collaboration that stimulates scholarly initiatives between SEC universities.
This initiative gives faculty from one SEC university the opportunity to travel to another SEC campus to: exchange ideas; develop grant proposals; conduct research; consult with faculty and/or students; offer lectures or symposia; or engage in whatever academic activities are agreeable to the visitor and host unit.
