Proposed 2025-2026 Fringe Benefit Pool Rates

The University has calculated the new proposed fringe rates for fiscal year 2025-2026 and has submitted them to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Although no objections are anticipated, please note the proposed rates are subject to DHHS approval and could be subject to change. The rates, when approved, will be effective July 1, 2025.
The employee categories and corresponding proposed benefit rates are as follows:

Housestaff/Clinical Post Docs (CPFI) 24.7% 22.0% 2.7%
Graduate Assistants/Reg Post Docs (FAPD) 14.2% 11.6% 2.6%
Student OPS/Federal Work Study 0.9% 1.0% -0.1%
Other OPS/Temporary Faculty 5.6% 4.2% 1.4%
