Call for Nominations: International Educator of the Year and Global Learning Excellence Awards 2025

 The UF International Center is pleased to invite nominations for the 2025 International Educator of the Year (IEY) and the Global Learning Excellence (GLE) Awards. These awards embody the mission of the International Center and support UF’s preeminence as a global leader. Both awards will be presented at a reception at the Keene Faculty Center on Monday, November 17, 2025, during International Education Week. Nominations for both awards must be received by Friday, October 10th at 4PM.

The International Educator of the Year Awards are made annually in recognition of the outstanding contributions of faculty and staff to the internationalization of the University of Florida. As in years past, three awards will be made:

• Senior Faculty International Educator of the Year
• Junior Faculty International Educator of the Year
• Staff International Educator of the Year

Colleges may re-nominate individuals who were previously college nominees for the campus-wide award at all levels. The appropriate college representative must send nominations via email as electronic attachments to the UFIC Office for Global Research Engagement at OGRE@ufic.ufl.edu. The Global Learning Excellence Awards are made annually to recognize UF faculty who have gone above and beyond in their curriculum internationalization efforts and ensure all UF students have opportunities to gain global perspectives and engage in international interactions, without the need to travel abroad. Four awards will be made:

• Synergy
• Innovation
• Impact
• Scholarship and Dissemination

Please note: GLE awards are reserved for projects that are embedded in on-campus or online courses, not associated with study abroad.
