AI^2 Center Interim Director

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Hans van Oostrom has been named Interim Director of the AI^2 Center effective May 1st.

Dr. van Oostrom is the founding chair of the Department of Engineering Education in the Wertheim College of Engineering. Now an associate professor in that department, he oversees the university-wide Undergraduate Certificate in AI Fundamentals and Applications and is the faculty chair of the University Curriculum Committee.

The AI^2 Center is UF’s hub for AI learning opportunities.
