New Faculty Orientation August 21, 2000

This note is a reminder that this year’s new faculty orientation will be held on August 21st from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Touchdown Terrace, North End Zone of the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. A continental breakfast will be served starting at 8:00 a.m.

Each of our 388 new faculty members was sent a letter of invitation from Provost Colburn. But we know newly hired faculty members are often in transit and establishing new addresses this time of year and some may not have gotten our letter. So, I ask that you do whatever you can to assure that all your new faculty know about and attend the new faculty orientation. Thanks very much for your help. The Provost and I look forward to meeting another outstanding group of new faculty on August 21st.
