Construction/Renovation Estimate Service Charge

One of the services provided by the Physical Plant Division is to provide an estimate to colleges/departments that are contemplating minor construction/renovation to their facility. Usually these projects do not exceed $50,000. Unfortunately, over 85% of these estimates are never funded by the requesting college/department.

Effective immediately, colleges/departments requesting an estimate for proposed minor construction/renovation will be required to pay a fixed charge of $100 per estimate or 10% of the project estimate (whichever is lowest). Additionally, each revision to the original estimate will cost the requestor $50. All estimate charges will be credited if the project is funded within 90 days.
