Below are copies of the Notice of Withdrawal and the Notice of Change in Proposed Rule for rule changes which were proposed for adoption by the University on February 19, 2005.

NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL

RULE TITLE: University of Florida; Possession and Use of Firearms

RULE NO.: 6C1-2.001

Notice is hereby given that the changes to the above-referenced rule as published in The Gainesville Sun on February 19, 2005 have been withdrawn.

NOTICE OF CHANGE IN PROPOSED RULE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the University of Florida, in response to comments received prior to the hearing, has changed the following rule:

6C1-3.057    Finance and Administration; Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment Compensation and Drug Testing

Paragraph (1)(a) has been changed to read as follows: “An employee shall report as soon as practicable an on-the-job injury to the Workers’ Compensation Office, Division of Human Resources and also to the employee’s supervisor.”

Except for this change, the rule published by the University on February 19, 2005 will be adopted as originally proposed.
