MyUFL PeopleSoft Student Financials Begins October 13, 2008

Ed Poppell, Vice President for Business Affairs

Beginning October 13, 2008, the new MyUFL PeopleSoft Student Financials system will “go live” allowing students, parents and university departments immediate on-line, real-time access to student financial information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Users of the system may pay their bills, access account information and view transaction history. This new student financial system also provides the university with enhanced ability to quickly respond to the complex fee structure the university currently manages.

Departments that post charges to student accounts or view student financial information will be impacted. Each impacted department has designated a Project Liaison to facilitate the transition from the current system to the new system. The Project Liaisons started their work in September of 2007 and are currently assisting with testing the new system.

Registration for PeopleSoft Student Financials training is now open via the myUFL system. Training will be required for all staff members posting charges or viewing student financial information.

For more information about the PeopleSoft Student Financials project, including Project Liaison contact information, training course descriptions and security requirements, please visit the project website at http://sfproject.erp.ufl.edu.

We greatly appreciate the effort and support we have received from across the University to help make this important implementation and transition a success.
