Reminder to Power Off Equipment

Jeffrey Chorlog, Assistant Vice President, Physical Plant Division

Please help the University in its mission to conserve resources by turning off equipment, lights, computers, and other devices that require power before departing for the holiday break.

Temperature setbacks in most office and classroom areas are being allowed, but will not affect current schedules for research facilities, file server rooms, or areas that will have personnel working during the winter break.

The schedule setback dates are Saturday, December 22 through Tuesday, January 1, 2013.

If you have any questions regarding whether your space or facility will encounter the temperature set-backs, please contact John Lawson in PPD Energy Department for clarifications at jrlawso@ufl.edu.

In the event of an emergency, please do not hesitate to contact UF Work Management at 392-1121.  We hope everyone enjoys this winter break and look forward to the upcoming spring semester. Thank you for your cooperation.
