Postdoc Salary Minimums
Joe Glover, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
In an effort to ensure fair compensation of all University of Florida employees, the university establishes a minimum salary for all Postdoctoral Associates at the University of Florida, effective October 1, 2013, to be no less than the minimum graduate student stipends. The minimum graduate student stipend amounts, effective October 1, are as follows:
9-Month appointments (19.5 biweekly periods)
FTE | Annual | Biweekly Amount |
1.0 | $22,000 | $1,128.20 |
.50 | $11,000 | $564.10 |
.33 | $7,260 | $372.30 |
.25 | $5,500 | $282.05 |
12-Month appointments (26.1 biweekly periods)
FTE | Annual | Biweekly Amount |
1.0 | $29,446 | $1,128.20 |
.50 | $14,723 | $564.10 |
.33 | $9,717 | $372.30 |
.25 | $7,362 | $282.05 |
Postdoctoral Associate minimums will match whatever graduate student stipend minimums are set for each year. If any Postdoctoral Associate salaries are not at the current graduate student minimums, they must be adjusted to meet the minimums by October 1, 2013, and the Office of Human Resource Services will automate this process.
