Academy of Distinguished Teaching Scholars

This is to announce a call for nominations to the Academy of Distinguished Teaching Scholars (ADTS/Academy).

A maximum of three new members will be inducted into the Academy each year. Faculty members inducted into the Academy receive $3,000 per year (total of $9,000 over 3 years) to be used for the purchase of equipment, travel to conferences or for professional development, books, graduate students, and other related expenses. It may not be used as faculty salary.

Please share this information with your faculty and encourage individuals with exemplary accomplishments as a teacher-scholar to apply. Self-nominations are acceptable, but must be accompanied by a letter of support from the nominee’s chair, director or dean. The directions for completing the application packet can be found at:
