Religious Holiday-Ramadan

This year, the religious holiday of Ramadan begins in the
evening of Thursday, April 23, and ends in the evening of Saturday, May 23, and
our UF final exams are scheduled from April 25-May 1, 2020.  Students
observing Ramadan will fast every day from dawn to dusk.  Often,

Southeastern Conference Academic Consortium (SECU) Academic Leadership Development Program (ALDP)

Southeastern Conference sponsors an Academic Leadership Development Program
(ALDP) to “identify, develop, prepare and advance faculty as academic leaders
in and for SEC universities.”  Member institutions nominate fellows to
participate in two ALDP workshops, as well as on-campus programs, during the

Ceremonies:  This spring, commencement
continues with our new model.

There will be two university-wide commencement
ceremonies coordinated by the Provost’s Office — a Doctoral Degree Ceremony on Thursday, April
30 at 7:00pm (processional to begin at 6:30pm) in the Stephen C. O’Connell
Center, and an all-degrees ceremony on Friday, May 1 at 7:00pm in Ben Hill
Griffin Stadium.

Additionally, except for the
Colleges of Dentistry, Pharmacy and Law, each college will hold their own
