Southeastern Conference sponsors an Academic Leadership Development Program
(ALDP) to “identify, develop, prepare and advance faculty as academic leaders
in and for SEC universities.”  Member institutions nominate fellows to
participate in two ALDP workshops, as well as on-campus programs, during the
academic year.

Provost’s Office will sponsor up to four fellows for the ALDP program for the 2020-2021

Ceremonies:  This spring, commencement
continues with our new model.

There will be two university-wide commencement
ceremonies coordinated by the Provost’s Office — a Doctoral Degree Ceremony on Thursday, April
30 at 7:00pm (processional to begin at 6:30pm) in the Stephen C. O’Connell
Center, and an all-degrees ceremony on Friday, May 1 at 7:00pm in Ben Hill
Griffin Stadium.

Additionally, except for the
Colleges of Dentistry, Pharmacy and Law, each college will hold their own

available to faculty and departments to submit their textbook adoptions and
materials requirements.  Please visit to
enter Summer and Fall 2020 adoptions. 

In order to facilitate timely ordering of materials by the UF
Bookstore, please submit Summer and Fall adoptions, by March 23, 2020.

For compliance with Florida Statutes, please submit adoptions no
later than the following:

Repeal of Tax Changes Affect Parking Decals

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed by
Congress in December 2017 affected employer-provided qualified transportation
fringe benefits, including workplace parking plans.  Beginning in 2018, the Employee parking costs
were no longer a deductible expense, meaning they were subject to Social
Security (or FICA Alternative for participating employees), Medicare and
Federal withholding taxes.

On December 20, 2019, the
President signed into law the Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Relief Act of
