As a result of the settlement of a class action suit between the States and several airlines, university employees traveling on domestic airline flights, on official university business, will be entitled to an additional 10% discount. This discount is over and above the State of Florida contract fares and is also applicable to flights on Alaska Air, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, TWA, United Airlines, US Air and all of the above airline’s majority owned subsidiaries or connecting commuters.

The discount is available for use immediately until February 9, 1997 or until total discounts to all eligible governmental business users throughout the United States have been reached, whichever occurs first. In order to utilize this discount, travelers must indicate to the travel agency that they are traveling on official university business and are entitled to the 10% discount under the “MULTI-STATE” program code and CRS Code MS10. Please note that the discount does not apply to family members who accompany university personnel traveling on university business.
