Changes in State University System Rules and University of Florida Provisions; Effective July 1, 1996

Added flexibility, quicker response time, and more effective practices are three results of the new State University System (SUS) rules and University of Florida provisions that will go into effect July 1, 1996.

The information provided in this memorandum’s attachment captures key components of the rule revisions–at both the state and university level. Because of our ongoing interest in building responsive policies and procedures, university-level changes have been made with feedback from University of Florida vice presidents as well as our Personnel Advisory Committee.
