Unisys representatives to remain on UF campus one more week to address state employee complaints

Due to an overwhelming response, representatives from Unisys, the state of Florida group health plan administrator, will remain on the University of Florida campus this week, October 28 through November 1, to resolve state employees complaints.

As a convenience to employees, the representatives will continue to be housed in University Personnel Services E&G/Auxiliaries Office, which is located in room G-6 of the J. Wayne Reitz Union (next to the JWRU Hotel reservation desk). The representatives from Unisys, while maintaining office space at UF, also will address complaints from all affected state agencies in the area. UF was chosen as the site to house the representatives due to the large number of affected employees in one workplace.

Governor Chiles and the Department of Management Services arranged for the representatives to go on site last week to resolve customer problems in response to the numerous complaints from state employees involving slow claims processing, provider networks, and similar concerns related to Unisys administration.
