For the third week, state employees may continue to visit representatives from Unisys, the state of Florida group health plan administrator, on the University of Florida campus to have their health insurance problems solved. These representatives will remain through the week of November 4 to November 8.

As a convenience to employees, the representatives will continue to be housed in University Personnel Services E&G/Auxiliaries Office, which is located in room G-6 of the J. Wayne Reitz Union (next to the JWRU Hotel reservation desk). The representatives from Unisys, while maintaining office space at UF, also will address complaints from all affected state agencies in the area. UF was chosen as the site to house the representatives due to the large number of affected employees in one workplace.

Governor Chiles and the Department of Management Services arranged for the representatives to go on site two weeks ago to resolve customer problems in response to the numerous complaints from state employees involving slow claims processing, provider networks, and similar concerns related to Unisys administration.

The Unisys representatives phone number while they are at UF is 392-3701, SC 622-3701.
