Alumnae of Outstanding Achievement Convocation

The convocation to celebrate 50 years of coeducation is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., Friday, September 19, at the University Auditorium. The program will include recognition of 47 Alumnae of Outstanding Achievement, with original music by composer Stella Sung and brief comments from Terry Dozier, former National Teacher of the Year and current special advisor the U.S. Secretary of Education. The convocation is open to the public and all faculty members who have regalia are encouraged to participate in the processional. Faculty who wish to participate are asked to call me or Vera Hartsuch at 392-1311 by noon, Thursday, Sept. 18, so we can reserve adequate seating for the faculty processional. Faculty participating in the processional need to arrive at University Auditorium by 9:30 a.m. to line up with their college.
