Delegation Concerning Software License Agreements

State law authorizes me to sign certain contractual agreements on behalf of the University of Florida. In various instances that authorization has been delegated to other University officials. I hereby delegate to all Deans, Directors and Chairpersons authorization to execute “shrink-wrap”, also known as “blister-pak”, software license agreements for personal microcomputer software on behalf of the University as long as the cost of the software does not exceed $1,000.00.

This delegation is effective November 1, 1999 and supersedes all previous delegations of this authority for the described purposes.
