The inaugural University of Florida Entrepreneurs Forum will be held this Saturday, October 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the University of Florida Hotel and Conference Center. The theme of the Forum is “Venture Capital: Current Trends and Opportunities” and we will feature several UF alumni and others who have achieved success in the venture capital world. This will be a great opportunity for our faculty and students, as well as local entrepreneurs, to learn how best to attract private investment for new startup companies in our community. The event is free of charge and is open to the public, but advanced registration is required.

The response so far has been very strong with more than 200 people currently registered. If you plan to attend and have not yet pre-registered, please call the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of Florida Foundation at 392-7775 or e-mail jcaldwel@uff.ufl.edu. Final deadline for registration is Wednesday, October 18.

We hope to see you on October 21.
