The Central Florida Innovation Corporation (CFIC) and the Florida Venture Forum will present “Innovation Florida 2001 – Early Stage Capital Raising Conference” on Tuesday, October 9, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The conference will showcase 20 promising high-growth technology companies from throughout the state of Florida to a national audience of venture capitalists, investment bankers and individual investors.

The Commercialization Council is actively recruiting startup and existing companies that are seeking “first outside” equity financing. Candidate companies must be technology-based, be capable of achieving $25 million in revenue after five years of growth, and must have a minimum of $250,000 in prior investment or cash flow.
