The Faculty Fellows Program creates opportunities for students to enjoy a balanced living environment full of enriching educational and social experiences. The residence halls are an ideal living and learning environment for students to extend their education beyond the classroom. Interaction with faculty and staff outside the classroom is instrumental in gainful student development and academic performance.

Faculty Fellows are assigned to a particular hall or residence area and invited to present educational programs, as desired. They attend residence life and hall government activities and become acquainted with hall leaders. Family members and significant others are welcome and invited to attend. Faculty Fellows will be asked for a time commitment of approximately one hour per month to visit the hall and meet with area residents, either formally or informally.

Your participation in this exciting program would be greatly appreciated. Last year, it was a great success and shows great promise to be improved upon this year, with your help. If you are interested in receiving more information about the program, please contact Nia Johnson by phone at 352-392-2171 ext. 186 or e-mail at niaj@housing.ufl.edu. Thank You.
