On Monday, August 20, 2001, fuel delivery/dispensing at the UF Motor Pool will be suspended at 8:00 a.m. while new pumps and a larger diesel storage tank are installed. Renovation to our dispensing system is expected to be completed on/about September 4, 2001.

During this renovation, a limited amount of diesel fuel and gasoline will be available in the proximity of the current tanks (from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) for non-mobile vehicles such as mowers, fuel for weed eaters, etc. All mobile vehicles (both diesel and gasoline) will be refueled at:

Lewis Oil, Inc.
621 S.E. Depot Avenue
Gainesville FL
Telephone: 376-3293

Lewis Oil and the Motor Pool will handle billing arrangements during this renovation. Drivers will be required to provide vehicle number/tag number and mileage to the attendant when refueling. Fuel dispensing will be available from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

We highly recommend that all departments “top off” their vehicle fuel tanks prior to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2001.

All other services remain at the Motor Pool during renovation. If you have questions about the interruption, please call Jon Priest or Joanne Davis at Motor Pool at 392-1131. Thank you for your cooperation.
