Conversion to PeopleSoft

On July 1, 2004, the University will transfer from SAMAS/FLAIR to PeopleSoft. The Purchase Order History file will not transfer from one system to another.

As a result, we will not be issuing blanket purchase orders that have an ending date of later than June 30, 2004, even on Contract and Grant accounts.

In addition, change orders will not be possible on those orders that are issued prior to June 30, 2004. Unless they can be paid unencumbered, you will need to do a new purchase order for any extra amount to be paid above the amount issued. PLEASE make every effort to have accurate information on orders being placed this year, especially if they may not be received and paid for before June. The cut-off dates for making payments and issuing purchase orders will likely be earlier in 2004 than it has been in past years.
