USPS and TEAMS Salary Increases Effective December 1, 2003

The Division of Human Resources is pleased to announce the following guidelines for the December 1, 2003, salary increases provided by the Florida Legislature. Eligible full-time employees will receive a salary increase, which is based on calculations using salaries on November 30, 2003. All eligible full-time employees will receive a minimum increase of $500-no increase can exceed $1,400. Part-time employees will receive a prorated increase.

TEAMS and USPS employees (not in step pay plans)

  • TEAMS and USPS employees will receive a 2 percent increase with a $500 minimum and $1,400 maximum.
  • Salary range minimums and maximums also will increase by 2 percent.
  • Eligible employees must be hired by November 30, 2003, and not rated “below performance standards” or formally non-reappointed.

Step plan employees (certified law enforcement and health care professionals)

  • The current step will be adjusted by 2 percent (will exceed $500 minimum) with a $1,400 maximum.
  • Step plan employees will remain on their current step number.
  • Eligible employees must be hired by November 30, 2003, and not rated “below performance standards” or formally non-reappointed.

Pay grade adjustments
All pay grade minimums and maximums will be increased by 2 percent.
