Promotion of Michael Mironack to Director of Operations for the J. Wayne Reitz Union

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Michael Mironack on his promotion to Director of Operations for the J. Wayne Reitz Union. Dr. Mironack has served as Interim Director of the Reitz Union since February 2005 with the promotion of former director David Kratzer to Associate Vice President for Student Affairs. Dr. Mironack has served as Associate Director of the Reitz Union since 2002.

Dr. Mironack served as Regional Conference Committee Chair in 2002 for the Association of College Unions International. He received the William E. Rion Outstanding Staff Member Award in 1997 from ACUI.

Dr. Mironack holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Florida.

We are the beneficiaries of Dr. Mironack’s love of the University of Florida, fostered as an undergraduate student assistant in the Reitz Union in 1978. Please join me in supporting Dr. Mironack as he continues his dedication to the Reitz Union in this new position.
