2006-2007 Salary Increase Plan Processing

Effective August 21, 2006, university departments may begin the process of entering salary increases for eligible faculty and staff. These increases will be effective October 1, 2006 and must be entered by 5:00 P.M. on September 5, 2006.

An automated process for loading the salary increases has been developed. Please see the instructional guide at http://www.bridges.ufl.edu/training/docs/UFRaises1006.pdf for directions on how to update this file.

The security roles that are permitted to make entries into this file are:
* UF_HR Manager/Dept Admin
* UF_HR Level 1 Approver

All staff will be handled as outlined in the DDD distributed on July 18, 2006, which provides for a 3 percent increase to the base and eligibility for the 1.5 percent merit-based pool. http://www.admin.ufl.edu/ddd/

Faculty and graduate assistants in a collective bargaining unit will be governed by the terms of their respective contracts. Negotiations are currently underway with each union related to 2006-2007 salary increases. Departments are reminded to withhold an amount of money proportionate to the bargaining unit members in that area. While these employees will be listed in the raise file, they will need to have their “checkmark” removed (as described in the instructional guide).

Departments may request changes (additions or deletions) to the report by contacting the appropriate core office. Please contact Classification and Compensation at 392-4621 or employment@ufl.edu to make changes to TEAMS and USPS employees. Please contact Academic Personnel at 392-1251 to make changes for faculty and graduate assistants.
