PeopleSoft Finance Upgrade Postponed

As a result of budget reductions for FY 08-09, all technical work for the Finance System Upgrade will be temporarily postponed. Pre-planning efforts for the upgrade will continue as scheduled. This includes identifying business needs, documenting and measuring business processes and writing the project charter.
Stakeholders from across the university have been working hard to identify potential improvements to university business processes and the enterprise system. This work will continue and the people involved will review and map our current business practices and processes. By continuing the work related to our current business processes we will be laying the foundation for the technical work of the eventual Finance System Upgrade. This foundation will improve our ability to implement an upgrade in the future, lower our costs and improve the University. Thank you for all of your on-going contributions.
