Tenure, Permanent Status, and Promotion Workshops for Faculty and Staff
Dr. Angel Kwolek-Folland, Associate Provost
We have scheduled workshops for those interested in the process to discuss the preparation of tenure/promotion packets and the University evaluation process for 2008-2009.
We encourage faculty who will be submitting packets this fall, the staff who will be assisting with the preparation of packets, members of this year’s college/unit review boards, new hires, and other interested faculty who may be going through the process in the near future, to attend one of these sessions.
The workshop schedule is:
|Tuesday, September 2||9:00 – 11:00 AM||C1-4 Health Science Ctr|
|Tuesday, September 2||2:30 – 4:30 PM||284 Reitz Union|
|Thursday, September 4||8:30 – 10:30 AM||346 Reitz Union|
Additional workshops on promotion and tenure aimed specifically at staff (part of the Pro-3 series) will be held September 30, 1:30-4:30 and October 3, 9:00-12:00, both in HRS 120. Staff may want to attend these workshops instead of the general faculty presentations.
If you have questions, please contact Janet Malphurs at firstname.lastname@example.org. Staff interested in the Pro3 workshops should sign up through Training and Organizational Development at www.hr.ufl.edu/training.
