The SVPHA Search Committee today recommended that five candidates seeking to become the University of Florida’s next senior vice president, health affairs be brought back for on-campus interviews.

The committee forwarded the following names to UF President Bernie Machen:

Robert C. Robbins, M.D.
Professor and chairman, cardiothoracic surgery
Stanford University School of Medicine

Martin P. Sandler, M.D.
Associate vice chancellor for hospital affairs
Vanderbilt University Medical Center

David Jonathon Shulkin, M.D.
President and chief executive
Beth Israel Medical Center
