Say hello to the new website for UF&Shands, the University of Florida Academic Health Center!

We are thrilled to launch UFandShands.org as our interactive web presence. It is a place to share information, to help patients learn about doctors and clinical research studies, and to follow the story of the greatest Academic Health Center in the Southeast.

Whether you are a patient, academician, health care provider, administrator, office staffer or student, UFandShands.org has something for you.

We’ve added a “Find a Doctor” feature for patients to identify a health-care provider by name or specialty, a directory of locations for people who want to find care close to home, maps, a health encyclopedia fortified by the expertise of UF faculty, a database of ongoing research studies and a calendar that supports patient and academic events.

These new additions interact in a very dynamic way. People searching for a particular medical condition will not only find a page containing reliable, peer-reviewed health information, they also will find related UF&Shands caregivers, locations where they can receive medical attention, information about any research studies that may be under way and the latest AHC news related to the subject.

This is where you will stay up-to-date on the latest initiatives and advances of UF&Shands, and where we can carry on a conversation through Facebook, Twitter and other social media.

Please explore the new UFandShands.org, share it with your family and friends and let us know what you think! A video tour is available online at https://ufandshands.org/discover-your-new-website-ufandshandsorg. Visit webservices.ahc.ufl.edu to leave questions, comments (or congratulations!) for the UF&Shands Web Services team. And don’t forget to check back on a regular basis so you can stay connected.
