If you are working with a production company or individual who is interested in filming on the UF campus, authorization is required, and that is provided by a location agreement. Access to buildings and other areas, safety and security issues, financial arrangements and rights to use the content for non-university purposes are all considerations covered by the agreement. To initiate a location agreement, contact University Relations at 846-3903 or danwill@ufl.edu. The agreement must be signed by both the film crew and the university, and that often requires legal review, so it is important to allow as much time as possible to complete the process prior to the shoot date. For questions, contact University Relations.
