myUFL HR and Payroll Upgrade “goes live” September 18

We are pleased to announce the myUFL HR and Payroll Upgrade will “go live” on September 18 at 8 a.m. All employees who use the myUFL system (my.ufl.edu), including faculty and OPS staff, will notice some changes as a result of this upgrade and are, therefore, reminded to clear their cache and cookies before using the system for the first time that morning. Starting 5 p.m. on Friday, September 7, to support the transition to the upgraded HR and payroll systems, ePAF and position management will become unavailable for transactions. The rest of the HR and payroll systems will become unavailable at 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 13. As a reminder, while the system is unavailable: Employees will not be able to view their paychecks online because all of the HR and payroll systems, including those available via My Self Service, will be affected. Employees’ paychecks will be available for viewing again on September 18. Online training will not be available via myUFL but will still be available at https://lss.at.ufl.edu/ for employees who have already registered for any needed online training. Please register for any needed training before 5 p.m. on September 13.
With the upgrade, those who use the HR and payroll systems will see some changes in the following areas: **Time and Labor: The way all faculty and staff enter time and leave will be affected. This includes OPS employees. **ePAF: With the upgrade, this will include position actions and additional pay. **Commitment Accounting (currently called payroll distributions) **Enterprise Learning (training enrollment) **Enterprise Reporting tools that depend on HR/payroll data (including Query Studio)
GatorJobs and the rest of the myUFL system will NOT be affected by this upgrade.
Upgrade training is required for many who need to use the HR and payroll systems. Required training must be completed by the end of September in order to keep any requested roles. Please see http://upgrade.my.ufl.edu/roles.html for more information.
The online training workshop “PST916 Time and Labor Approvers 9.1” is required for those with the time and labor approver role (UF_TL_DEPT_APPROVER). No training is required for employees in order to enter their time and leave; however, instructional support is available here: www.hr.ufl.edu/training/myUFL/toolkits/timeandlabor.asp
