I am pleased to announce that the university is increasing the minimum salary for Postdoctoral Associates.  To ensure fair compensation of all University of Florida employees, the university is establishing a minimum salary for all Postdoctoral Associates at the University of Florida to be no less than the minimum established for graduate student stipends.  The new minimums, effective for 2014-15, are as follows:

9-Month appointments (19.5 biweekly periods)

FTE         Annual               Biweekly Amount
1.0         $26,000               $1333.33
.50         $13,000               $666.67
.33         $8,580                $440.00
.25         $6,500                $333.33

12-Month appointments (26.1 biweekly periods)
FTE         Annual               Biweekly Amount

.33         $11,484                $440.00
.25         $8,700                 $333.33

If any Postdoctoral Associate salaries are not at the new minimums, their salary will be adjusted (retro back to July 1 or their appointment date if after July 1). The Office of Human Resource Services will automate this process.  Any adjustments should be reflected in the October 31, 2014 paychecks.
